Spurred on by the few friendly folks who know about its existence, here’s WordBuilder v1.4.
Features:
- Export to CSV file
- Edit word
- Translator (a rather fault-prone beta)
- Updated Text on path addin for InkScape
- Added menu item for selecting all words – shortcut shift+ctrl+a no matter where you have focus.

Bad news, mate. The program installed okay, but failed to start, throwing the following error message, “The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.”
That sucks – I wonder what the problem is. I even tried installing it, albeit on my local machine.
I take it you have the .NET framework 3.5 installed?
A quick Google turns up links like: http://forum.ayanova.com/Topic3806-114-1.aspx
That last post was mine. I pity the fool who’d pretend to be me!
Apparently, I don’t have .NET installed(?). I’ve attempted to install it several times with no success. Is there any way I could get a fresh copy of 1.2 or 1.3? I’m going to try downloading the redistributable package instead of the bootstrap. Wish me luck!
They all depend on the .NET framework. Still, 1.3 should be here: http://whee.dk/wordbuilder/WordBuilder_1.3.msi
Got it flying.
Anyway, could you put up some sort of a manual for the translator. I’m interested, but it’s not at all clear to me what I should be loading in or anything.
http://whee.dk/?page_id=140 <-- Just added this. Let me know if that helps?
That helps. Thanks.
Great!
Anything you can think of to improve it, lemme know. Right now, I’m working on syntax highlighting, it’s looking pretty swell.
I’m also considering publishing the code, making it open source. Not sure if it’s any use.
More of a documentation question. I can’t seem to find any info on the use of the loop operation.
Now there is: http://whee.dk/?page_id=65#loop
I think we need a better way of communicating than comments on old posts. Forum? Do I need to work out a better forum?
